  • About the Role
  • Our ICT Directorate is at the heart of enabling student outcomes through the delivery of innovative, secure, and reliable digital services. We are now seeking a visionary Manager, Enterprise Applications to lead a multidisciplinary team and drive the strategic evolution of our enterprise platforms.

This impactful role is pivotal in enabling NESA’s digital transformation, and will see you

  • Drive operational excellence and strategic uplift across critical platforms.
  • Influence cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver integrated, secure, and future-ready services.
  • Champion innovation while balancing risk, compliance, and resource constraints.
  • Ensure our digital services remain responsive to the evolving needs of educators, students, and stakeholders across NSW.

On a daily basis you will

  • Lead the delivery and enhancement of enterprise applications, websites, collaboration tools, M365, and telecommunications services.
  • Oversee mobile and fixed-line telephony, messaging platforms, and contact centre systems to ensure seamless service performance and commercial value.
  • Act as the product owner for ServiceNow, guiding its roadmap and integration within our SIAM (Service Integration and Management) capability.
  • Collaborate across infrastructure, operations, and cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance and alignment with organisational goals.
  • Manage vendor relationships, licensing, procurement, and performance reporting with a focus on public sector compliance and value for money.

Our ideal candidate is a seasoned ICT leader, and will bring

  • Proven experience managing enterprise applications and SaaS environments across cloud and hybrid platforms.
  • Expertise in telecommunications services and vendor management.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and a track record of delivering complex digital services.
  • A valid Working With Children Check for paid employment (prior to commencement, not required at application.
