Placed.au is looking for a full-time Management Consultant for our client in Melbourne, Victoria. As a key strategic advisor, you will support business performance, operational efficiency, and long-term growth initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic professional services environment, contributing to high-level decision-making and organisational improvement.

Job description:

-Analyse existing organisational structures, operational processes, and management systems to identify areas for improvement.

-Conduct research, collect and interpret data, and evaluate business performance indicators to support strategic planning and operational optimisation.

-Develop and recommend strategies to improve efficiency, cost-effectiveness, productivity, and overall business performance.

-Prepare detailed reports, business cases, and presentations outlining findings, risks, and practical recommendations for senior management.

-Advise management on organisational restructuring, change management initiatives, and workflow improvements.

-Assist in developing and implementing new policies, procedures, and performance frameworks.

-Evaluate financial data and operational metrics to support budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation decisions.

-Facilitate workshops and stakeholder consultations to gather insights and align strategic objectives.

-Support project implementation, ensuring recommended strategies are effectively executed and monitored.

-Monitor outcomes of implemented initiatives and provide ongoing advisory support to ensure sustainable improvements.

Qualifications/Attributes:

-Must hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Business, Management, Commerce, or a related field.

-Must possess at least three (3) years of relevant work experience in management consulting, business advisory, or strategic operations.

-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and presentation capabilities.

-Demonstrated ability to work with senior stakeholders and influence decision-making.

-Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

-High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.

Salary Range:

$100,000 – $110,000 p.a. excluding superannuation.
