Duties & Responsibilities:
Driving plant to worksite
Driving and manoeuvring plant on site
Selecting and fitting attachments to plant
Manipulating controls to operate attachments mechanically, hydraulically and electrically, and to move materials
Monitoring operation of plant directly and by referring to instruments
Monitoring condition of plant, performing minor repairs and reporting mechanical faults
Operating plant and machinery, including tractors, loaders, skid steers, feed trucks, forklifts, and water trucks.
Attach, operate, and detach machinery implements and feed-mixing equipment.
Loading, transporting, and distributing feed to cattle in accordance with ration programs.
Handling commodities including unloading and stockpiling.
Cleaning pens, manure handling and general feedlot maintenance using mobile machinery and equipment.
Conduct routine servicing, lubrication, refuelling, and minor repairs.
Comply with workplace health and safety standards.
Follow feeding schedules, written and verbal directions from supervisors.
Adapt to seasonal conditions, extended hours, and variable workloads.

Qualifications & Sills
At least five years of relevant experience.
Trained in use of mobile plant operation and machinery operation.

Experience:
Experience in operating a range of heavy mobile plant machinery
Competent in handling and transporting bulk materials.
Understanding of machinery controls, hydraulic systems, and safety protocols.
