The role ALS Geochemistry is seeking a Logistics Worker to join our Logistics team in Kalgoorlie. This full-time position involves working both in our warehouse and external laydown yards, reporting directly to the Section Supervisor Logistics. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate the receipt and dispatch of client samples to ALS Environmental laboratories Sort, check, and manage incoming samples, including client-requested sample pick-outs Arrange shipping between sites and complete online courier bookings Wrap and strap pallets for load-out and assist with freight handling Liaise with clients regarding sample submission details, project requirements, and container orders Communicate with laboratory staff when urgent samples are received Maintain storage yards, work areas, and general housekeeping standards Keep accurate records of incoming and outgoing freight and maintain supporting documentation Prepare and distribute sample container orders for clients Deliver and collect eskies as required Support general warehouse duties and local site management responsibilities Assist other sites and business units when needed Share relevant market or competitor information with management The following roster options are available Monday to Friday: 7:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday to Friday: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday to Friday: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm The essentials Previous warehouse experience (highly regarded) A current forklift licence is required, with experience preferred. Ability to work in a high-throughput, client-focused environment Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong teamwork skills Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Flexibility to cross-train and adapt to workflow fluctuations and team absences Working at ALS The ALS team is a diverse and dedicated community united by our passion to make a difference in the world.
