Position: Loader Operators

We’re currently looking for an experienced Loader Operator to join our team in WA.

Key Responsibilities:

* Operate loaders to perform material handling, stockpiling, truck loading, backfilling, trenching, and other civil construction tasks; experience in Positrack would be highly regarded.
* Safely load, transport, and place materials in designated areas, in accordance with site plans, load charts, and supervisor instructions.
* Conduct daily pre-start inspections and routine maintenance on plant and equipment.
* Monitor equipment performance and report faults, hazards, or maintenance needs promptly.
* Work collaboratively with other operators, labourers, engineers, and site supervisors to meet project schedules, productivity targets, and quality standards.
* Adhere to Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) policies, safe work method statements (SWMS), and environmental management procedures.
* Follow all company policies, site access protocols, and relevant statutory requirements.
* Operate in compliance with load limits, site-specific speed limits, and safe operating practices to prevent damage to equipment and infrastructure.

Qualifications and Skills:

* Proven experience (at least 1 year) operating loaders in a civil construction environment. Positrack experience is highly regarded.
* Strong understanding of safe loading, tipping, and material handling practices.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* High attention to detail and safe equipment operation.
* Willingness to work across various sites, including regional locations.
* Commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.
* Loader ticket would be preferable.

Salary is commensurate experience ($75,000 to $95,000 per annum)
