Direct Personnel are seeking 10 applicants to fill the role of Housekeeper for seasonal worker accommodation in Cassowary Coast and Tablelands regions, Queensland.

Our client employs workers from the Pacific Islands and is seeking Housekeepers to assist with the housekeeping and cleaning of accommodation facilities.

As a Housekeeper you would carry out internal cleaning duties including the maintenance of carpets and hard floor surfaces; kitchen, bathroom, toilet, furniture and fittings cleaning; window cleaning, dusting, rubbish removal, and other items of general cleaning. In addition, you would also carry out external cleaning duties including the cleaning of verandas and covered areas, removal of cobwebs and other general cleaning duties as required.

This is a casual position with a minimum of 30 hours per week. You may be required to undertake work on weekends and public holidays. This position is for a period of 9 months starting around Mid October 2025

The remuneration for this role is as per level 1 of the Cleaning Services Award [MA000022].

Key selection criteria:
• Strong focus on safety and ensuring compliance with WH&S policies and procedures.
• On the job training will be provided, however previous cleaning experience is preferred.
• Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised.
• Positive attitude towards safety and workplace well-being
• Ability to prioritise tasks.
• The ability to work as part of a team.
• Need to be physically fit for the role as it involves lifting and carrying.
