Our Employer is looking for Literacy Campaign Facilitators We have a big dream. We want to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander adults to read and write. We work at the whole community level. This job is about teaching English literacy to local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander adults through a program called YES, I CAN! You will join paid training before the classes begin and get ongoing support to help you feel confident delivering the lessons. This is a part-time position, up to 18 hours per week each for up to 12 months. Who are we looking for? No teaching or education experience is needed. We are looking for people who want to help their mob improve their reading and writing, are eager to learn new skills, work as part of a team, and make a positive difference in their community. The equivalent of Year 10 level literacy is required. A valid drivers license and Police Check (or willingness/ability to get one) is desirable. This position is First Nation Identified.
