City Lift Services Pty Ltd is looking for Lift/Elevator Mechanic to join their team based in Western Australia.

Role Purpose:
As a Lift/Elevator Mechanic, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining elevators and access solutions across Western Australia. You will ensure that all work aligns with City Lift Services' procedures and safety standards while delivering outstanding service to our clients. Your role will be integral to our success, as our technicians represent the face of our company and are key to maintaining our strong customer relationships.

Primary Duties
• Service, repair, and maintenance of elevators, escalators, moving sidewalks, disability access equipment, and dumbwaiters.
• Use of hand and power tools, testing devices, welders, and workshop equipment (e.g., drill press, cutting equipment, assembly tools).
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical malfunctions in brakes, motors, and automated systems.
• Identify and order parts needed for repairs and replacements.
• Adjust and maintain safety controls, counterweights, door mechanisms, and key components such as valves, ratchets, seals, and brake linings.
• Inspect installations and alignments of doors, platforms, and stairway lifts to ensure safe and proper operation.
• Disassemble, repair, or replace defective units such as locks, gears, and cables.
• Maintain accurate records through electronic and written logbooks for all maintenance and repair work.
• Stay updated with additional training to keep skills and industry knowledge up to date.
• Ensure workspaces are organized, clean, and safe (workshop, vehicles, job sites).
• Provide support and training to apprentices as part of their development.

• Basic computer skills (experience with scheduling software is a plus but not required).
• A valid driver’s license.

Salary from $76,515 per annum

Position: Full Time
