- Administer and maintain library management systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for library staff and users across all platforms.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement system upgrades, updates and enhancements.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system configuration, processes and procedures.
- Train library staff on system functionalities and best practices.
- Ensure data integrity and security within the library management systems.
- Identify opportunities for system improvements and implement necessary changes.
- Coordinate with vendors for system support and maintenance.
- Stay aligned with current business processes and needs, identifying the most efficient methods to achieve desired outcomes through process redesign and software enhancements via APIs and scripts.
- Proven experience in managing and administering library management systems.
- Strong technical skills in system configuration, troubleshooting and support.
- Familiarity with library operations and workflows.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with API integration and script development is highly desirable.
- Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- Relevant qualifications in information technology, library science, or a related field.
- Australia National Police Check required, not older than 12 months.
