The Role:

Recently, this builder has secured a diverse mix of exciting projects across the office fit-out, government, commercial, and luxury residential sectors. As a result, they have partnered with Randstad to recruit two motivated Leading Hands for urgent, long-term contract roles. These positions are offered on a wage basis, and report directly to the assigned Project Manager.In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the day-to-day operations of a busy site, with a focus on carpentry tasks and coordinating the efforts of labourers and subcontractors.

Duties:

• Supervision / co-ordination of trades, site personnel and subcontractors.
• Documenting site activity
• Compliance and monitoring of WHS
• Ensuring carpentry works are being carried out in accordance to plans.
• Working closely with the Foreman to review the status of the project.
