- About the role
- The Curriculum Program Operations directorate involves developing, implementing and monitoring the kindergarten to year 12 curriculum in NSW, ensuring quality syllabuses and overseeing the implementation of Australian Curriculum Content.
- At NESA we are presently focused on an exciting, transformational program of curriculum reform, and this role is a great opportunity to support/Lead the work of passionate educators.
On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for
- Oversee syllabus and policy projects to ensure compliance
- Establish and maintain stakeholder relationships
- Lead, coach and develop teams across the Curriculum Division
To be successful, you will need
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or demonstrated equivalent relevant professional experience.
- Proven experience delivering large scale government projects
- Demonstrated project deliverables from complex long-term projects
- An understanding and knowledge of Curriculum Reform Program and how it the operations are run at NESA.
- Proven experience monitoring multiple, concurrent directorate projects
- Understanding of how to process complex issues with NESA policies
