- About the Operations Group Division
The Operations Group is responsible for providing high-quality services and support to the education system and supporting and regulating the early childhood education and care sector. This includes
- ensuring the best use of our resources to improve education outcomes for children and young people
- making sure that schools and the department have the right technology to support the delivery of education
- simplifying administrative processes
- providing information, support and advice to schools and staff through EDConnect, the shared service centre, and overseeing effective operational practices
- monitoring, supporting and regulating the early childhood education and care sector in NSW and ensuring continuous improvement in quality
- supporting, promoting and enabling good governance, risk management frameworks, controls assurance, and fraud and corruption services.
- About the position
- The Lead, Digital Support Team (CEO) is responsible for the overall strategic leadership and direction of the Digital Support Team. The position provides vision and guidance, to ensure that schools and Education Support Staff are effectively supported in leveraging digital tools: to increase productivity; improve student engagement; and enhance the capability for our teachers to create digitally-rich learning experiences. The role requires a strategic approach to change management, and a deep understanding of educational technology, to drive positive outcomes.
