We are looking for Process Workers, Packers and Laborers.
These roles are covered under the Meat Industry Award 2022.
The work environment can involve hot or cold temperatures (0–4°C in chilled areas), exposure to meat processing conditions, and repetitive, fast paced and physically demanding tasks.
Required Aptitudes:
To perform this role, workers must be able to:
• Carry out repetitive manual handling, including lifting up to 15–20kg
• Stand for long periods (8–10 hours per shift)
• Work safely in cold and hot environments
• Perform tasks at fast line speeds
• Follow strict hygiene, safety and QA procedures
• Use knives or simple tools where required (training provided)

REMUNERATION
• Base rate: Start from $25.65 per hour (Meat Industry Award 2022)
• Penalty rates for afternoon/evening, weekend and public holiday work
• Overtime rates beyond ordinary hours
• Applicable allowances (e.g., knife allowance, cold work allowance)

ROSTER
4 rostered days between Monday and Friday, 6:00am – 4:30pm (9.5 hours)
• Ordinary hours: 38 hours per week
• Overtime may be required and will be paid according to the Award.
• Additional shifts or roster variations may be required based on production needs.
