About the Role:
Riley Insulations is a privately owned Australian company specializing in insulation solutions for heavy industrial environments. We offer a range of services including Thermal Insulation, Laser Cutting, and Sheet Metal Fabrication.
We are expanding and have multiple opportunities for Laggers / Sheetmetal Workers to join our team. Whether you prefer working on-site or in a workshop environment, we have positions to suit your skills and career goals.
All roles require attention to detail, pride in workmanship, and consistently delivering work to a high standard.
On-Site Roles: Work on major industrial and commercial projects, installing insulation and Sheetmetal cladding directly on piping, ductwork, and equipment.
Workshop Roles: Be based in our Port Kembla workshop, fabricating and preparing Sheetmetal cladding and insulation ready for installation.
Key Responsibilities:
On-Site Workers:
Install thermal insulation and Sheetmetal cladding on piping, ductwork, and equipment to a high standard
Read and interpret drawings and job specifications accurately
Ensure quality workmanship and compliance with safety procedures
Workshop Workers:
Fabricate, cut, and assemble Sheetmetal cladding to a high standard using workshop tools and machinery
Prepare insulation and sheathing for delivery to site teams
Maintain workshop equipment and ensure safe, clean practices
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in lagging and/or Sheetmetal work (site or workshop)
Ability to read and follow drawings and cutting lists
Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality finishes
White Card required
Forklift licence desirable for workshop roles
Driver's licence and reliable transport preferred
