We are building a faceless kids’ YouTube channel (think Cocomelon / Little Baby Bum style) and I’m looking for an animator or small team to help create high-quality animated videos featuring animals, simple stories, and songs for children. The content will be aimed at young children (ages 2–6), so visuals need to be: Bright, colourful, and engaging Simple, smooth animations (not overly complex, but eye-catching) Consistent characters and style across episodes What I Need: Creation of 2D or 3rd animated videos (2–5 minutes long each) Ability to design or work with pre-made animal characters & backgrounds (you can recommend whether to build from scratch or use template packs) Simple character actions: walking, talking, dancing, playing instruments, etc. Syncing animations with narration, sound effects, or music (I will provide voice/music, or we can collaborate on sources) Deliver in 1080p or 4K YouTube-ready format Initial Scope: Start with a batch of 3–5 test videos If quality and workflow are strong, move into long-term partnership (50+ videos) Requirements: Experience creating animations for kids’ content (please provide portfolio samples) Strong communication skills and ability to follow creative direction Reliability — I’m looking for a long-term collaborator, not a one-off freelancer Bonus if you have experience adding nursery rhyme lyrics on screen, or if you already have ready-to-go character packs for kids’ animations Budget: I’m open to proposals, but generally looking at $200–500 per finished video depending on complexity and your experience Open to monthly retainers for faster production if we’re a good fit To Apply: Please share examples of kids’ animations you have made (or similar cartoon/character animation work). Let me know what tools/software you work with (e.g. Adobe Animate, Moho, Toon Boom, Blender, After Effects, etc.). Suggest whether you’d recommend custom characters (designed once and reused) or template-based to keep costs lower. Give me your per-video or monthly rate for this style of work.
