Job Post: Specification Writer for Mass Page Builder (Local SEO Pages) Overview I am building a Mass Page Builder — a local web app (runs on localhost) that generates SEO-optimised service × location landing pages at scale. The tool should: - Source geo data from open datasets such as GeoNames, OpenStreetMap, or Natural Earth. - Allow scope selection at country, state or province, or city or town level. - Accept input of a service name plus keywords or intents (for example: Tree Service with tree removal, stump grinding). - Output a static website (HTML, CSS, JS) with: • On-page SEO (URLs, titles, meta, H1 and H2, OG tags). • Geo-located images with captions, alt text, and schema. • Internal linking between service hubs, state hubs, and nearby cities. • Structured data such as FAQ, Service, Breadcrumb, and ImageObject. • Sitemaps and robots.txt. • Export as a ready-to-host static site. This engagement is for the specification only — no coding and no wireframes yet. Scope of Work Deliver a Functional and SEO Specification Document covering: 1. Geographic data sourcing, structure, and tokens such as country, state, city, lat, lng, intent. 2. Page generation rules at country, state, and city levels. 3. On-page SEO: URL patterns, Titles, Meta, H1 and H2, canonicals, OG and Twitter. 4. Structured data: FAQ, Service, Breadcrumb, ImageObject with geo. 5. Geo-located images: naming, alt text and captions, JSON-LD, image sitemaps. 6. Internal linking: hubs, cross-links, nearby cities, breadcrumbs. 7. Content rules: minimum copy length, FAQ count, enrichment via AI or manual. 8. CTAs and tracking: sticky call button plus custom HTML zones with token support. 9. Validation and reporting: duplicate detection, missing fields, content quality gates, build report format. 10. MVP versus future features such as AI-assisted content and SaaS deployment. Each requirement must include acceptance criteria so developers know when it is complete. Deliverables - Specification document (Google Doc or Markdown). - Organised, developer-ready, and wireframer-ready. Requirements - Strong background in local SEO and programmatic or mass page SEO. - Hands-on experience with schema, sitemaps, geo-signals. - Proven ability to write functional requirements, not just strategy.
