Cirillo Management Group Pty Ltd is a leading table grape grower with operations in Robinvale( VIC), Mildura(VIC) and Paringi (NSW), Australia. The business is seeking a full-time qualified Irrigationist.
The salary offered is $76,515 per annum plus superannuation.
The Irrigationist will be responsible for the following:
Determine hydraulic parameters for an irrigation system.
Implement an irrigation-related program.
Schedule irrigations.
Select and manage pumping systems for irrigation.
Interpret and apply irrigation designs.
Supervise irrigation system installations.
Supervise irrigation maintenance.
The applicant will have the following skills and experience:
• AQF Certificate II in horticulture, viticulture or a related field with at least 1 year of relevant experience (20 hours or more per week); OR equivalent work experience
• Practical experience as a farm worker within the agriculture, horticulture or forestry industry
• Ability to operate a wide range of farm and plant machinery including tractors and pumps
• Knowledge and experience of agricultural production principles
• Excellent communication skills
• Current driver’s licence
• Suitable agricultural or horticultural qualifications and/or experience
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
