Lake Lucas Almonds Pty Ltd is a dedicated grower and producer of high-quality almonds based in Meilman East, Euston NSW 2737. Lake Lucas Almonds Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time qualified Irrigation Assistant.
Salary is $76, 515 per annum plus super.
The applicant should have at least a relevant Certificate 2 or 2 years of full time work experience (at least 38 hours per week) at a primary producer. The applicant must be committed to working in regional NSW.
The applicant will be responsible for the following tasks:
• Determine and schedule irrigations based on weather conditions
• Irrigate crops as required
• Assess soil moisture on a daily basis by undertaking crop inspections
• Assist in design and implementation of the irrigation program
• Schedule irrigations
• Install irrigation systems
• Maintain pumping systems for irrigation
• Daily maintenance of irrigation systems
• Completing general tasks assisting others as required
• Participate in staff development as requested or required
• Inspect and report any maintenance required
