COLORFUL EYE-CATCHING BOOK COVER DESIGNS We're searching for someone who LOVES expressing ideas visually. Someone who has a great mind for design. WHO WE ARE A successful non-fiction publishing business, specializing in self-help topics. THE JOB We have 3 book covers to design now. We are also about to embark on a project to modernise several of our existing titles. We'd like to complete the whole assignment with one designer. Our design style is modern, typography-led and colorful. YOU You've probably spent time in agencies, working on significant projects. You've gone out on your own and you're seeking work that will allow you freedom of creative expression. You are interested in projects with purpose and work that will make a difference in the world. You are obsessed with design and it affects how you live, work, and view the world. REQUIREMENTS • You must be a master with the relevant tools - psd, ai, indd, etc • English is your first language. • You must understand the Western market (US, UK, CA, AU, etc). • You have at least 8 years of professional graphic design experience and it must currently be your full-time occupation. ONGOING We wish to create a long-term relationship with someone that can continue with us well beyond the scope of this first project. YOUR PROPOSAL Please follow the instructions below carefully: • Please write NO MORE THAN 150 words • Find 3 images showing book covers you LOVE. They can be designs created by you or someone else. They will show your appreciation for great design. Please attach those 3 images to your proposal.
