Omega Manufacturing Group Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time Internal Accountant to join our team.

Based in Albury–Wodonga, Omega Technical Engineering provides subcontracting services to both local and interstate companies across a variety of industries, while also fulfilling the growing manufacturing requirements for Ross Performance Parts and Aviaid Oil Systems, our internationally recognised high-performance aftermarket automotive brands.

The Internal Accountant will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of our financial reporting and supporting business planning. This position will be responsible for preparing reports, maintaining financial records, monitoring costs, liaising with external auditors and regulatory bodies, and providing analysis to assist management with compliance and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the preparation of monthly accounts, reconciliations and year-end financial reporting.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure financial data is up to date across company systems.
- Contribute to the preparation of budgets, forecasts and financial reports to support planning.
- Track expenses and provide cost analysis to management.
- Coordinate with external accountants, auditors and regulators to meet compliance obligations.
- Provide financial insights and reporting to support decision-making across the business.
- Use ERP and accounting systems to strengthen reporting accuracy and efficiency.
- Work closely with operations teams to align financial reporting with procurement and inventory processes.

Selection Criteria & Essential Attributes
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, ideally with exposure to manufacturing
- Strong understanding of cost accounting and inventory principles
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Experience with ERP systems (desirable)

Salary $76,500.00 – $85,000.00 per year, plus superannuation.
