Task & responsibilities Consult with clients to determine project objectives, requirements and budget for interior design projects. Prepare detailed design concepts, drawings and documentation using AutoCAD, Sketchup, Photoshop & Enscape.  Select, specify and coordinate furniture, fixtures, fittings, finishes and materials to achieve the desired design outcome.  Develop presentations. mood boards, technical drawings & design packages to communicate design ideas and concepts to clients.  The ability to create stong concepts and bring client visions to life, crafting inspired concepts and curating materials, finishes, and FF&E that seamlessly express each project’s unique design style. Ensure designs comply with building codes, accessibility standards, sustainability requirements and workplace health and safety regulations.  Liaise with architects, builders, contractors and suppliers to co-ordinate project delivery. Work within timelines, budgets and procurement processes to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within scope.  Work alongside other designers supporting them or guiding them with their projects when needed.  Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure design integrity is maintained throughout.  Stay up to date with emerging rends, technologies and materials in interior design.  Qualification & experience An Interior Design Degree is required. Experience as a mid-tier interior designer on comparable projects is essential, along with demonstrated ability to manage design development through to project delivery. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Excel is required, while knowledge of Revit and the Adobe Creative Suite will be viewed as advantageous. Strong communication and presentation skills are necessary to effectively liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers, and a solid understanding of building codes, accessibility standards, and sustainable design practices is expected.
