JBS Australia, part of the global JBS business, is the largest and most respected meat and food processor in Australia with a strong portfolio of leading beef, lamb, pork, salmon and value-added products. Our Northern division operates five beef processing plants across Queensland and Northern NSW, producing more than 400,000 tonnes of beef products every year.

Situated on 2,000ha, the JBS Riverina Plant is a part of the Riverina integrated farming, feedlot and processing operation. The cattle are walked from the feedlot to the plant, minimising stress and transportation costs, while simultaneously improving eating quality – one of only two in the southern hemisphere.

Based just outside Yanco, between the popular townships of Leeton and Narrandera in the heart of the Murrumbidgee Irrigation district (or Riverina region), our location ensures the ability to source high quality feeder cattle and grain to produce premium beef. The plant employs approximately 420 team members with a processing capacity of 600 head of cattle per day, operating 5 days per week.

About the Role
The JBS Riverina Plant is currently recruiting an Industry Analyst to join the Riverina team in a full-time capacity. Reporting to plant manager, you will provide support across the Plant to ensure the availability, reliability and capability of plant assets in a beef processing environment. The annual salary is not less than $76,515 plus superannuation for this role.

Your key responsibilities will include:
assisting and encouraging the development of objectives, strategies and plans aimed at achieving optimal customer experience and satisfaction and the effective use of organisations' resources and capabilities
analysing and evaluating current systems, capabilities and structures
advising clients on recommendations based on analysis of current-state gaps to provide solutions to organisational problems
preparing and recommending proposals to revise methods and procedures, alter work flows, redefine job functions and support organisational innovation and improvements
assisting in implementing approved recommendations
Run the live yield report on rotation.
Perform belt and product checks.
Give immediate feedback to Supervisors and QA. Perform corrective actions on specification issues.
Map product performance with employee positioning.
Collate and graph downgrade product and cut up data.
Account for missing pieces.
Step up to PCP Officer as required.
Step up to QA Officer as required.

About You:
High level understanding of boning room product specifications.
Good verbal & written communication abilities.
Good interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to work with minimal supervision, demonstrating organisational & time management skills.
High level of attention to detail.
