Job Description I’m looking for an experienced industrial designer to help bring a new portable wellness accessory from concept to manufacturer-ready files. The product will combine ergonomic comfort with integrated lightweight electronic components, so I need someone confident in designing soft goods that incorporate small embedded modules. The final design should be premium, minimal, and travel-friendly — think sleek wellness product, not a gadget. Responsibilities Develop initial concept sketches and 3D CAD options based on a mood board and product requirements. Refine the chosen concept into detailed CAD models ready for prototyping. Advise on materials, ergonomics, and finishes suitable for a consumer-facing travel accessory. Integrate placeholders for low-power electronic components (dimensions will be provided). Deliver manufacturing-ready files (STEP/STL/DWG). Optional: provide photorealistic renders for marketing and investor decks. Qualifications Strong portfolio in consumer products, wellness devices, or soft goods with integrated components. Experience working with foam, fabrics, and ergonomic design. Familiarity with design for manufacturing (DFM) and communicating with factories (China experience a plus). Bonus: experience in wearables or travel accessories.
