Incident Management Specialist Division – Digital Bangalore Hybrid As an Incident Management Specialist, you play a vital role in keeping our digital services running smoothly for customers around the world. Key Responsibilities: Restore failed services as quickly as possible while maintaining accurate incident records throughout the entire lifecycle. Meet SLA/OLA targets, reduce repeat incidents through root‑cause analysis, and ensure timely communication with stakeholders. Record, classify, prioritise, and manage incidents and service requests in the Case Management System, owning them through to closure. Perform first‑line investigation and troubleshooting across systems including SH/DS, Databricks Pipelines, Erbessd databases, PI AF/DA/Relay, MQTT communication, and OpenVPN, escalating to internal teams or vendors when required. Maintain high‑quality documentation, dashboards, and knowledge articles while ensuring compliance with SLAs and proactively escalating risks. Collaborate with internal and external support teams and uphold zero‑harm behaviours to contribute to a world‑class safety culture. Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Relevant certifications such as ITIL Foundation (preferred) and technical certifications in networking or systems (e.g., Cisco, Microsoft, Databricks). More than three years’ experience in incident management or technical support, with hands‑on troubleshooting across systems, databases, and communication protocols. Familiarity with industrial data platforms (PI, XMPro) and VPN technologies, along with strong knowledge of incident and problem management processes. Proficiency with MQTT, OpenVPN, database diagnostics, monitoring tools, and ticketing systems, including exposure to operational analytical and methodological services. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information effectively in English and an additional language.
