AXIOM Technologies Australia Pty Ltd is looking for ICT Support Technicians.
The Role:
We are seeking enthusiastic and skilled ICT Support Technicians to join our Melbourne-based service delivery team. In this role, you will provide high-quality technical support to users, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and assist with the installation, maintenance, and configuration of IT systems.
The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of hands-on IT support experience, excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first- and second-level technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues in a timely manner.
- Support end-users with troubleshooting across Windows, macOS, and mobile platforms.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and updates.
- Manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Assist in system and device imaging, deployment, and patching using standard tools.
- Log, track, and resolve service requests in the ticketing system according to SLAs.
- Escalate complex technical issues to higher-level support when necessary.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation and contribute to knowledge bases.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain strong communication with end users.
- Comply with company IT policies, procedures, and security guidelines.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of experience in IT Support, Desktop Support, or a similar technical role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 administration.
- Basic understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
- Experience with hardware setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Familiarity with ITSM tools or service desk ticketing systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft, ITIL Foundation) are desirable.
