This full-time role offers the chance to shape digital innovation in a supportive, service-driven remote healthcare environment. About the Role As our ICT Support and Test Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining system reliability, ensuring compliance, and driving quality improvement across healthcare ICT and telehealth platforms. You’ll deliver responsive ICT support, conduct system audits, resolve technical challenges, and enable staff to confidently use digital tools that support safe, efficient, and person-centred care. You will also provide technical leadership for telehealth services, cybersecurity awareness, and digital best practices, collaborating across teams to ensure data integrity, privacy, and seamless service delivery. Key Responsibilities Quality Assurance & Auditing: Conduct ICT system audits, review data and documentation, and ensure quality standards are met. Compliance & Risk Management: Identify risks, recommend corrective actions, and monitor adherence to ICT and healthcare compliance requirements. User & Stakeholder Engagement: Educate, support, and liaise with healthcare staff and management to promote awareness and adoption of ICT standards and practices. Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve infrastructure issues, while guiding staff in the use of healthcare and telehealth platforms. Systems Maintenance & Problem Solving: Manage installation, configuration, repair, upgrades, and performance monitoring of ICT systems across desktops, servers, networks, and security systems. Testing & Programming: Test systems and applications for errors, apply corrective programming, and follow established testing protocols. Systems Architecture & Strategy: Assess and review ICT and telehealth architecture, recommending future strategies for hardware, software, and digital integration. Documentation & Reporting: Prepare and maintain technical manuals, system specifications, operational guides, and audit reports. About You We’re looking for someone with: A bachelor’s degree in information technology or related discipline Experience in systems auditing, quality assurance, and IT compliance Hands-on knowledge of healthcare ICT systems, CRMs, and rostering tools Experience in liaising and testing health information system vendors Strong troubleshooting and testing experience across desktops, networks, databases, and applications Experience in managing connectivity for hybrid and remote healthcare workers Clear communication skills with the ability to train and support diverse users Understanding of privacy, cybersecurity, and safe technology use in healthcare settings Familiarity with documentation practices and digital safety training for staff Previous work in aged care, disability, or community health Experience in managing and keeping up to date Health Organisations, patient clinical policies and governance Why Join MDHSS?
