We are recruiting an ICT Business Development Manager to join their dynamic team. This role is central to expanding their market presence by connecting their powerful, resident-focused technology with care organizations seeking to improve their service delivery. You will be the key link between the company's specialized expertise and the evolving needs of the care sector, helping providers leverage technology to meet both care quality and business objectives.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
In this role, you will own the full business development lifecycle, from identifying opportunities to ensuring long-term client success with specialized aged care technology.
Strategic Market Research & Prospecting
• Conduct concise market analysis to identify prospective client organizations in aged, retirement, and acute care sectors, using industry directories, sector reports, and networks.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline by understanding operational, regulatory, and financial challenges care providers face today.
Consultative Sales Execution & Client Engagement
• Lead consultative sales meetings with prospective and existing clients, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor by showing how the Platinum6 suite meets core needs in care delivery, staff workflow, and business performance.
• Assess clients’ operational requirements and regulatory burdens, tailoring the software’s goods, services, and Acute Care Solutions to fit.
• Prepare proposals, negotiate terms, and finalize contracts with a clear value and implementation path.
Product & Sector Expertise Development
• Acquire and maintain expert knowledge of Platinum6 Software Suite, including monthly upgrades, and the broader competitive landscape in aged care.
• Understand market conditions, funding models, and sector challenges to articulate compelling value propositions to executives and care managers.
Post-Sales Relationship Management & Growth
• Follow up post-implementation to ensure satisfaction, drive adoption, and identify opportunities for additional services or enhancements.
• Coordinate goods delivery, installation, and service provision with internal teams to resolve issues and foster long-term loyalty.
Sales Reporting & Market Intelligence
• Provide detailed reporting on sales achievements, pipeline progress, and market feedback on ICT solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of BD activities, client interactions, and expenses, submitting reports promptly.
Driving Adoption of Innovations
• Promote the latest software versions and cloud services, advising on upgrades to boost performance and care analysis.
Skills & Experience Required
ICT Industry & Sales Experience
• 1 – 2 years in business development, sales, or key account management in ICT/software/technology services. Healthcare/aged care experience is advantageous.
• Ability to manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to post-sales nurturing.
Technical Aptitude & Learning Agility
• Ability to understand and explain complex software and web platforms, rapid mastery of new technologies.
• Desirable familiarity with cloud solutions and upgrade lifecycles.
Business Acumen & Communication Skills
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills; ability to engage stakeholders from frontline managers to C-level.
• Strong analytical skills and excellent written communication for proposals and reports.
