Australis College Pty Ltd, trading as Nomi College, is seeking a qualified and experienced ICT Business Analyst to join our team. This is a full-time permanent position based in Adelaide, with occasional or if only required to travel to the College's other campuses.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work closely with key stakeholders and users to formulate and document business requirements to support the development of system and software solutions for all four Nomi College campuses.
• Identify, investigate, and analyse business processes, procedures, and work practices across the College to optimise operational efficiency.
• Evaluate inefficiencies in existing systems and workflows, recommending improvements in business practices and system functionality.
• Apply project management methodologies, principles, and techniques to develop project plans, manage costs, resources, and timelines, ensuring successful project outcomes.
• Take responsibility for deploying functional solutions, creating and implementing system test plans to ensure high-quality and reliable systems for college operations.
• Develop and maintain user and training documentation, and conduct formal training sessions to ensure staff are proficient with new systems and technologies.
• Create detailed functional specifications to guide system developers in creating tailored solutions for the College.
• Use data and process modelling techniques to design clear system specifications, supporting the development of system software.
• Act as a central point of reference and provide guidance throughout the system project decision-making process, collaborating with other teams.
• Consult with users, developers, and programmers to design enhancements and improvements to the College’s websites, applications, and internal systems.
Skills and Experience Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as an ICT Business Analyst, preferably in an educational or multi-campus environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with data and process modelling techniques and creating detailed system documentation.
• Ability to effectively liaise with non-technical users and technical teams to ensure system requirements are met.
• Experience with system testing, quality assurance, and the implementation of software solutions.
