What you'll be doing
* Perform service, fault finding and repair on an extensive range of hydraulic and mechanical components and systems
* Maintain/manufacture hydraulic systems and equipment in accordance with specifications outlined by OEM’s, client or engineering team
* Carry out tube manufacture and component rebuilds in accordance with manufacturing specifications
* Carry out pressure testing, inspections and flushing to specified requirements
* Conduct all aspects of hands-on preventative maintenance on hydraulic equipment and systems
* Diagnostics of hydraulic equipment, analysing results and recommending further repairs or maintenance recommendations
* Ability to work autonomously and within a team
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure and to tight deadlines
* Coordinate and manage own workload to the satisfaction of the clients, coworkers and your manager
* Produce detailed and accurate reporting on tasks carried out onsite and, in the workshop,
* Maintenance of workshop and site equipment and machinery
* Keep up to date with industry standards and practices
What we're looking for
* Relevant Australian Trade Certificate – highly desired.
* Relevant work experience working in the same industry.
* Sound knowledge of hydraulic principles, valving, accumulators, pumps, actuators, hose and fittings
* Ability to read and interpret hydraulic schematics & P&ID drawings
* Experience with troubleshooting of hydraulic systems.
* Preferably holds a current driver’s licence
* Preferably holds a current forklift ticket or ability to obtain
* Ability to execute tasks independently and quickly grasp internal systems and processes.
* Strong computer literacy including, word, excel, outlook, and PowerPoint.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – both written and verbal
* High concern for detail, the desire for accuracy and the quality in the work completed
Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per annum
