Position Overview:
The Human Resource Adviser provides professional advice on human resource policies, workplace relations, and employment conditions. The role supports recruitment, performance management, and employee relations while ensuring compliance with Australian employment legislation.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. Develop, implement, and review human resource policies and procedures to ensure compliance with workplace legislation and organisational objectives.
2. Provide advice to management and employees on human resource matters including employment conditions, performance management, and workplace relations.
3. Coordinate and manage recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes to meet workforce planning requirements.
4. Assist in the development and implementation of performance appraisal systems and employee development initiatives.
5. Advise on remuneration, employee benefits, and workforce planning strategies in line with organisational goals.
6. Manage employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinary processes, and conflict resolution.
7. Analyse human resource data and prepare reports to support strategic decision-making and workforce planning.
8. Support organisational change initiatives by advising on change management, communication strategies, and employee engagement.

Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in a related field, or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a human resource advisory or generalist role
• Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation and HR best practices
• Strong communication, analytical, and organisational skills
