A critical role in supporting the Human Resources department, responsible for the end-to-end recruitment process while also contributing to key HR functions. This role ensures the organisation attracts and hires top talent that aligns with our values and strategic goals. In addition to working closely with hiring managers to identify resourcing needs, develop effective recruitment strategies, and manage the candidate experience from application through to onboarding, the Recruitment Consultant will also support broader HR initiatives such as workforce planning, employer branding, compliance, and policy implementation. This role ensures all recruitment and HR activities align with legal and organisational requirements.
End-to-end recruitment
• Undertaking end-to-end recruitment for white and blue-collar roles across Australia.
• Receiving and recording job vacancy information from employers such as details about job description, wages and conditions of employment.
• Arranging for advertising of job vacancies, interviewing and testing of applicants, and selection of staff.
• Maintain the ActionHRM recruitment database, talent pool and personnel records.
• Respond to unsuccessful candidates.
• Ensuring position descriptions are current and providing support to Managers when creating a new role.
Induction and Onboarding
• Maintain clear and timely communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing feedback and managing expectations.
• Manage the onboarding and induction processes including the development and maintenance of recruitment documentation and tools.
• Inducting new Perth Office employees and ensuring inductions are completed within the first week of commencing with Quattro.
Process Improvements
• Continuously evaluate and improve recruitment processes to enhance efficiency, reduce time-to-hire, and improve the quality of hires.
• Providing information on current job vacancies in the organisation to employers and job seekers
Human Resources Operations
• Undertaking negotiations on terms and conditions of employment and examining and resolving disputes and grievances.
• Studying and interpreting legislation, awards, collective agreements and employment contracts, wage payment systems and dispute settlement procedures.
• Developing, planning and formulating enterprise agreements or collective contracts such as productivity-based wage adjustment procedures, workplace relations policies and programs, and procedures for their implementation.
• Overseeing the formation and conduct of workplace consultative committees and employee participation initiatives.
• Providing advice and information to management on workplace relations policies and procedures, staff performance and disciplinary matters
