- Administer and maintain HR systems, records, and documentation (e.g., onboarding, offboarding, performance reviews, benefits enrollment).
- Assist in recruitment efforts by posting jobs, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews.
- Provide day-to-day employee support on HR-related matters, including benefits, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Support employee relations initiatives and help resolve HR issues with discretion and professionalism.
- Coordinate training and development programs as needed.
- Assist with HR data analysis and reporting for audits, metrics, and strategic planning.
- Participate in the implementation of HR projects and initiatives (e.g., Employee engagement, wellness).
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a generalist or specialist HR role.
- Solid understanding of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, BambooHR, Paycom) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
- Experience supporting remote or multi-state teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for building a positive workplace culture.
