Operating across three branches in the Peel and South West regions of Western Australia, we employ a talented team of around 70–80 dedicated people. The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to provide part-time support across our HR function. This is a remote and flexible role, ideal for a professional with large-company HR experience who is looking to make a meaningful impact in a growing business. The successful candidate will be process-driven, forward-thinking, and skilled at refining and streamlining HR processes to ensure efficiency and consistency. What You’ll Do Recruitment & Onboarding Create job advertisements and lead recruitment activities — from screening and shortlisting to interviewing Build relationships with external recruitment agencies Prepare and manage employment contracts Coordinate seamless onboarding and offboarding processes HR Operations Optimise and maintain Employment Hero to support HR functions Manage and approve staff leave and absences Oversee day-to-day HR processes and ensure smooth operations Compliance & Support Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and legislation Provide trusted HR guidance to managers and employees Monitor and maintain licensing and certifications for staff and external contractors What You’ll Bring Proven HR experience in a large Australian company (essential) Strong organisational skills with a structured, process-driven approach Solid knowledge of Australian workplace legislation and modern awards Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Familiarity with Employment Hero essential Background in a trade or construction business (desirable) Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, constantly evolving environment Enthusiasm for embracing AI tools to streamline processes and enhance HR outcomes What We Offer AU$50-60 per hour depending on experience 10–15 hours per week with capacity to increase as the company grows Remote, flexible working across Australia A chance to shape HR processes in a supportive team
