There is an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Hotel/Pub Duty Manager at this outstanding and beautifully presented venue. This is an exciting time to be part of a totally revamped and refreshed establishment in Sydney's CBD. Charlie Chan's boasts a sophisticated, modern and stylish design, which incorporates top quality fixtures and fittings. Charlie Chan's offers a full suite of beverage choices and loads of entertainment and promotional activities.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The successful candidate will have the following:

- Proficiency in both food and beverage management in a high calibre hotel venue with minimum two (2) years' experience is essential.
- Strong understanding of gaming and TAB facilities.
- Maintain a high standard of service to all patrons, while ensuring compliance with company policies, Liquor Act, Gaming Machines Act and government regulations.
- Ensure smooth running of hotel operations on designated shifts.
- Complete all cash reconciliations in an accurate and timely manner.
- Proactively supervise all staff by providing clear and consistent direction, ensuring that Company standards are adhered to at all times, as well as promoting a harmonious team environment.
- A candidate with experience in successfully managing events and implementing successful marketing ideas would be looked upon favourably.
- Be willing to take responsibility and accountability.

The right candidates must have excellent communication skills and a strong customer service focus, as well as be professionally presented and groomed at all times. The candidates must be flexible and available to work a rotating roster, including nights, weekends, public holidays, when rostering demands this.
