Our Client RN FARMS PTY LTD is seeking a reliable Horticultural Supervisor to work across six blueberry farms located in the Dimbulah and Mutchilba regions of QLD.
The farms located with sizes in acres:
- 66094 Burke Developmental Road (110 acres)
- 128 Veness Road (120 acres)
- 333 Veness Road (100 acres)
- 15 Minisini Road (100 acres)
- 62 Markocic Road (55 acres),
All of the above locations are within 5 minutes of each in Dimbulah town, as well as
104 Catherine Road, Mutchilba (100 acres), approximately 30 minutes away.

The role involves supervising farm staff, coordinating planting, pruning, irrigation, pest and disease control, and harvesting activities to ensure healthy crops and high-quality fruit production. The Horticulture Supervisor will monitor crop performance, enforce food safety, biosecurity, and workplace health and safety standards, maintain accurate records, and support training of farm workers. This position suits a leader with strong horticultural knowledge, proven supervisory experience, and the ability to manage multiple farm sites efficiently.
Job Responsibility:
• Oversee and supervise daily horticultural operations across blueberry farm sites to ensure productive, safe, and top-quality crop outcomes.
Duties:
• Organise, allocate, and supervise work for farm employees across planting, pruning, irrigation, pest control, and harvesting activities.
• Develop and manage daily and weekly work schedules to ensure efficient labour use and timely completion of farm tasks.
• Assign and oversee duties related to blueberry planting, cultivation, irrigation management, and harvesting to meet production targets.
• Train and supervise staff in blueberry-specific tasks including planting, harvesting, pest and disease identification, and safe work practices.
• Provide training on the correct use, operation, and care of farm machinery, tools, and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with the Farm Manager on a daily basis regarding crop conditions, labour performance, and operational issues.
• Maintain knowledge of equipment operation and efficiency to support smooth farm operations.
• Ensure all farm equipment and machinery are operating safely and correctly, and report faults or maintenance needs promptly.
• Monitor workers to identify unsafe or inefficient work practices and implement corrective actions when required.
• Address performance issues and issue disciplinary warnings in accordance with company policies when necessary.
• Record and report daily rainfall, irrigation data, temperature readings, and other relevant environmental information to management.
• Ensure employees are informed of farm rules, procedures, and regulations, and enforce compliance with workplace health and safety, food safety, and biosecurity standards.
Qualification:
• AQF Certificate IV or Higher
• 1-3 years of experience in related field

Salary:
• $70,000 - $90,000 + Superannuation
