WORDPRESS EXPERT NEEDED – HIGH-CONVERTING B2B LANDING PAGE BUILD (GOOGLE ADS, LEAD GEN, WPFORMS) PROJECT OVERVIEW We are seeking an experienced WordPress developer/designer with a strong background in building high-converting B2B landing pages for Google Ads campaigns. Our business (copierchoice.com.au) is an independent comparison service for office printers and copiers. Organically, our site ranks very well, but in paid search we are being consistently outranked by a competitor that uses a simple, microsite-style landing page. The goal of this project is to design and implement a new PPC landing page template under our existing WordPress site that behaves like a standalone microsite and is fast, distraction-free, and optimised for conversions. WHAT WE NEED BUILT LANDING PAGE TEMPLATE - Clean, fast, responsive, designed specifically for Google Ads traffic - No top navigation or footer links (only logo, non-clickable, for trust) - Above-the-fold focus: strong headline, key trust cues, phone number (click-to-call on mobile), short Step 1 form - Below-the-fold: client logos, testimonials, FAQs TWO-STEP FORM STRUCTURE - STEP 1 (above fold): Light questions (e.g. copier type, business size). Button = “Get Quotes” - STEP 2: Full lead capture (name, email, phone, location, qualifying questions) Tracking setup: - Step 1 fires as a secondary conversion event in GA4/Google Ads (micro-conversion) - Step 2 submit = primary conversion (qualified lead) FORM REQUIREMENTS - We currently use WPForms Elite, integrated with HubSpot and a custom CRM via webhooks - Preferred: continue using WPForms for the new pages - Open to alternatives: If you recommend another form builder (e.g. Gravity, Fluent), you must justify the change and handle full integration into HubSpot + CRM PAGE STRUCTURE / SCALABILITY - Landing pages must live under /compare/ - Example: copierchoice.com.au/compare/copier-quotes-sydney/ - Must be easy for us to clone and adapt for new cities and triggers - Design should remain consistent with brand (logo, colours, fonts) but separate from the main site (no navigation links) TECHNICAL NOTES - Site is WordPress - Pages must remain under the root domain (not a subdomain) - Open to using a different layout system if it delivers better results: - Blank canvas mode in Elementor Pro, Bricks, Oxygen, Divi, etc - Custom page template bypassing the main theme - Must integrate with GA4 + Google Ads conversion tracking - Pages must be lightweight and pass Core Web Vitals on both desktop and mobile. Since most conversions happen on desktop, the design should be optimised for desktop users first, while still delivering a clean, fast mobile experience for Google Ads quality score and secondary traffic. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR - Proven experience designing B2B lead generation landing pages - Strong understanding of conversion optimisation for paid traffic - WordPress expertise (Elementor/Bricks/Oxygen/Divi or custom templates) - Experience with GA4 + Google Ads conversion tracking - Professional communicator who can advise on best practices We are not looking for cheap providers or generic template work. We want a partner who understands strategy, can execute quickly, and has a track record of building landing pages that actually convert. DELIVERABLES (PHASE 1) - One fully functional PPC landing page (template) - Two-step form with GA4 conversion tracking (Step 1 + Step 2) - Easy duplication for city/trigger variations FUTURE WORK If this goes well, we will build out a cluster of these landing pages and re-engage for ongoing optimisation, most likely on an hourly basis. TIMEFRAME We would like Phase 1 (the initial template build) completed within 3 weeks, or ideally less, from project start. We are ready to begin immediately and will provide fast feedback to keep the project moving.
