We’re a small Mac-based team (3 users) seeking help to migrate our business email and calendar setup from Google Workspace back to Microsoft 365. We recently moved to Google but found it doesn't align with how we work. We're now returning to Microsoft 365 and need an expert to help us do it properly, with full migration, device setup, and secure, supervised access. We already have Microsoft 365 licenses although they have expired this month, access to our domain/DNS, and all three Macs and mobile phones are ready. This is a Mac environment only. Please apply only if you are confident configuring email, calendar, and device setup on macOS Ventura/Sonoma and iOS. Scope of Work 1. Email Migration (Gmail to Microsoft 365): Migrate 3 user mailboxes from Gmail (Google Workspace) to Microsoft 365 Outlook Retain folders, attachments, metadata, sent items Configure Outlook desktop on 3 MacBooks Set up Outlook mobile on 2 iphones. 2. Calendar Migration: Migrate Google Calendar to Outlook/Microsoft Calendar for each user Retain recurring events, shared calendars, invitations, etc. 3. DNS / MX Record Update: Access our Cloudflare DNS settings Update MX records to point away from Google and back to Microsoft 365 Exchange Confirm correct mail routing and DNS propagation 4. Device Configuration (macOS and mobile): Remove Google Workspace accounts from all devices Set up Microsoft 365 email and calendar on: 3 x MacBooks (macOS Ventura or Sonoma) 2 x phones (2 iPhones) Ensure syncing works and all data is live 5. Drive Migration – Just a Walkthrough We will migrate Google Drive files to SharePoint/OneDrive ourselves You just need to walk us through the safest and most efficient way to do this (e.g., download/upload vs. Google Takeout vs. migration tools) 6. Testing & Handover Confirm email and calendar are functioning properly on all devices Confirm mail is no longer routing to Google Provide a short checklist or summary of what was done Our Environment 3 MacBooks (macOS Ventura/Sonoma) 3 phones (2 iPhones, 1 Android) Google Workspace (Business Starter) Microsoft 365 Business Standard (active) DNS managed via Cloudflare Security Requirements All work must be done via screen share (Zoom, Google Meet, or similar) We will enter all passwords and credentials ourselves You will not be given unsupervised access to any account or device Required Skills Proven experience with Google Workspace to Microsoft 365 migrations Strong understanding of MX record configuration and DNS Comfortable configuring macOS and iOS devices for email/calendar Ability to communicate clearly and walk non-technical users through the process Reliable internet connection and availability in an Western Australian-friendly timezone preferred (not essential) Deliverables 3 user mailboxes successfully migrated to Microsoft 365 Working Outlook setup on 3 Macs and 3 phones Google Calendar successfully migrated to Microsoft 365 MX records correctly pointing to Microsoft Step-by-step advice on how we can move Drive files to SharePoint Clean handover with documentation or summary checklist Estimated Time Approximately 5–6 hours total. We’re flexible and happy to schedule the work across 1–2 sessions.
