About the role

Join a small, close-knit team that values hard work, reliability, and a good laugh. You’ll be hands-on with a wide range of work including diagnostics, repairs, servicing, upgrades, and breakdowns across Prime Movers, Trailers, HD Equipment, Machinery & LV’s – both in the workshop and out in the field, playing a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' fleets.

What you'll be doing

* Performing scheduled maintenance and inspections on heavy vehicles and equipment
* Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
* Troubleshooting complex problems and implementing effective solutions
* Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard and in compliance with industry regulations
* Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all work undertaken
* Collaborating with the wider team to provide exceptional customer service

What we're looking for

* Relevant trade qualifications in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics or a related field is desired.
* Extensive experience as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, preferably in the transport industry
* Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
* Strong technical knowledge of heavy vehicle systems and components
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Current unrestricted C class (or above) driver's licence and the ability to operate heavy vehicles
* National Police Clearance (within 12 months)
* Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
* Motor Vehicle Repairer's Certificate is preferred.
