Heavy Truck Drivers (ANZSCO: 733111 – Truck Driver (General))
Full-time/Permanent
$76,000 - $90,000 (salary will be considered commensurate to qualifications and experience and maybe outside this range)
Duties and Responsibilities:
*Drive truck with capacity of more than 3 tons to transport and deliver cargo or materials.
*Work in remote locations and drive long distances, if necessary.
*Conduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles to maintain working operations, record any defects they find.
*Load and unload cargo with multiple drops.
*Secure proof of deliveries and return relevant paperwork to office timely.
*Ensure load restraint is performed as per heavy vehicle load restraint guide.
*Maintain radio or telephone contact with base or supervisor to receive instructions or be dispatched to new location.
*Be efficient in completing the necessary delivery paperwork including run sheets and work diaries.
*Be able to take orders for new deliveries.
*Maintain truck log according to State and Federal regulations.
*Report to a dispatcher any incidents encountered on the road.
*Follow accident procedures if an accident occurs.
*Fill up on fuel, clean truck, and wash windows on completion of each trip.
*Keep record of materials and products transported.
*Keep a log of activities.
*Keep truck, and associated equipment, clean and in good working order.
*Plan routes using maps or satellite tracking.
Qualifications/Experience:
*AQF certificate II or III
*Valid Australian MC truck licence
*Minimum of 1 year recent heavy/multi-combination driving experience
*Demonstrate sound geographic knowledge Australia-wide
*Be highly reliable with a first-class approach to safety and customer service with good communication skills
*Fatigue Management Certificate
*Able to pass a drug and alcohol and pre-employment medical
*MSIC Card or willing to obtain
*Load restraint certificate
*Require DG Licence or willing to obtain
Heavy Diesel Mechanic (ANZSCO 321212 – Diesel Motor Mechanic)
Full time / Permanent
$76,000 - $90,000 (salary will be considered commensurate with qualifications and experience and may be outside this range)
Duties and Responsibilities:
*Diagnose faults in heavy diesel engines, transmissions, braking systems, steering and suspension systems across trucks, trailers and heavy plant.
*Carry out scheduled servicing, preventative maintenance and major mechanical repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications and statutory requirements.
*Dismantle, repair, recondition and replace engines, gearboxes, differentials, fuel injection systems and associated mechanical and hydraulic components.
*Inspect vehicles and equipment to identify safety defects and mechanical issues and record repair and maintenance requirements.
*Conduct road-worthy and safety inspections to ensure fleet compliance with applicable transport and workplace safety regulations.
*Use diagnostic tools and equipment to test, adjust and calibrate mechanical systems and components.
*Maintain accurate service records, job cards and parts usage documentation and report maintenance status to the workshop supervisor or fleet manager.
*Ensure all work is completed in a safe manner and in accordance with workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
*Provide technical advice to operations and management regarding vehicle reliability, maintenance planning and repair priorities.
*Assist in the preparation of maintenance schedules to minimise vehicle downtime and support continuous fleet availability.
Qualification/Experience
*AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV, or 3 years of relevant experience may replace the need to have a qualification
*Applicants holding the relevant qualification will require a minimum of 1 year of relevant post-qualification experience.
Fitter (ANZSCO: 323211 - Fitter (General))

$76,000 - $90,000 (salary will be considered commensurate to qualifications and experience and maybe outside this range)
Duties and Responsibilities
*Applying knowledge of metal fitting to install, inspect and maintain a variety of (non-mechanical) accessories and subassemblies to heavy vehicles including, but not limited to: bull bars, suspension systems, roof racks, winches, lifting equipment, cranes for lifting and loading onto trailers, hand-held equipment, manual transport equipment, ramps, straps, chains and pulleys, and more.
*Reviewing the dimensions/designs from diagrams, blueprints and sketches.
*Using grinding and sawing tools to manipulate and attach accessories and subassemblies into the desired shapes for secure fitting/fastening to heavy vehicles.
*Determining and creating fabricated components, where necessary.
*Conducting inspections to ensure vehicle accessories and subassemblies work properly.
*Identifying malfunctions and implementing plans to repair/replace them.
*Performing maintenance, such as cleaning, refitting and refastening.
*Recording building activities and the repairing of accessories on work records from the maintenance schedules.
*Adhering to the employer and government guidelines when handling heavy vehicles’ accessories and subassemblies.
*Documenting findings for safety audits and continuous improvement.
*Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
