Road Trains of Australia (RTA) prides itself in having over a decade of experience in safe & dependable transportation of livestock, petroleum and bulk commodities throughout the north of Western Australia, Northern Territory and Queensland in their fleet of prime movers.

RTA are currently seeking a fully qualified Heavy-Duty Mechanical Fitters to join the business on a full-time basis. Depending upon experience the successful candidate can be paid between $38 per hour to $50 per hour, plus 12% superannuation.

As a Heavy-Duty Mechanical Fitter, you will maintain our equipment to ensure it is roadworthy and your duties will include, but are not limited to:

* Repairs and Service of Heavy-Duty Road trucks
* Repairs and Servicing checks.
* Recording of work completed
* Safe operation, daily pre-start checks.
* Compliance to legislation, regulation and Company's policies & procedures

The successful candidate will have:

* Trade qualifications
* A valid HR/MC license (desirable but not essential)
* Willingness to undertake and clear a full Medical & drug & alcohol fitness assessment
* Provide Rights to work in Australia
* Great attention to detail, taking pride in your work
* National Police Clearance
