Instant Waste Management (Kelair Holdings) is seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanics to join our Trade & Services team on a full-time basis. This is a full-time role based at our Bayswater Workshop.

What You’ll Do

* Must have experience with Hino, Isuzu, Iveco, Nissan UD, and Mitsubishi trucks
* Demonstrated experience maintaining and repairing fleet vehicles (trucks, compactors, and lifting equipment)
* Willingness to work on earthmoving equipment
* Ability to investigate and solve a wide range of mechanical issues
* Detecting and diagnosing mechanical in engines and parts
* Dismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms, and other components for inspection
* Repairing and replacing worn or defective parts, reassembling components, and using service manuals as needed
* Performing scheduled maintenance services (oil changes, lubrication, engine tune-ups) to improve performance and meet pollution regulations
* Reassembling engines and parts after repair
* Testing and adjusting mechanical parts to ensure proper performance
* Diagnosing and testing parts with the assistance of computers
* Inspecting vehicles and issuing roadworthiness certificates or identifying required work for compliance

What We’re Looking For

* Trade qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic is preferred
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in a related field and industry is highly desirable
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Own tools and reliable transport to Bayswater Workshop
* Practical skills and experience in mechanical and auto electrical problem solving

What We Offer

Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 (based on skills and experience)
