Role reports to: Business Unit Director - Self Care Location: Asia Pacific, Australia, New South Wales, Sydney Work Location: Hybrid What you will do This role will be responsible for the development and execution of medical plans and associated HCP engagement initiatives enabling the sustained growth of our Pacific Cluster business across Self Care & Personal Care segments. This role will focus on leading the medical strategies aligned with the business objectives maximizing the value of our brands with consumers, patients and relevant healthcare professionals (HCPs). Key Responsibilities Lead Medical Scientific Strategy for Pacific Leverage medico-scientific expertise, clinical insights and external knowledge to drive HCP recommendation and support projects with tangible business impact. Build and maintain a trusted panel of local experts that can deliver industry leading, highly relevant scientific content to engage and educate HCPs aligned to the commercial and medical brand strategies Develop and review communication materials and content, bring in scientific insights to relevant communication tools and support dissemination for public health / consumer education Operating with an end-to-end mindset, you will provide medical expert insights and robust risk-benefit management working in close partnership with your local commercial partners, regional MSS segment colleagues and the wider cross-functional teams at a local and regional level including Regulatory Affairs, Customer Development, Compliance, Translational sciences and Communications. Enable activation of new medico-scientific content for amplification with KOLs/ HCPs/ Health Authorities/ Customers and Consumers Partner with the local Commercial and Functional team, as well as regional R&D teams to support the activation of new claims, scientific communications and demos that elevate and/or differentiate our products through superior science Support the review and approval of medical claims, promotional materials, and educational content to ensure accuracy, compliance, and scientific integrity Ensure local medical enquiries from internal and external customers are responded to in timely fashion with high quality and in accordance with internal policy and external legislation. Lead & Activate HCP Plans for Pacific Identification and Sharing of HCP Insights and Trends Develop and maintain strong internal networks to drive scientific excellence, technical rigor and increase recognition as to the importance of HCPs to our brands Campaign Amplification of Global Assets for Brand consistency Deployment of brand-agnostic tools and methods to Pacific with a focus on Omni-Channel, Customer Relationship Management and Sales force Effectiveness. Provide medical and scientific input into the creation of HCP detailers, claims and educational materials in compliance with regulatory standards Development and delivery of medical brand plans covering evidence-generation, educational program design and execution, key professional and consumer scientific communications and KOL engagement in line with brand strategies Local HCP strategy to be adapted from the Global Brand playbooks and integrated with the Brand Growth Plans Scientific Engagement Effective cross functional collaboration on scientific engagement, thought-leadership, evidence-generation and medical education Proactively engage and maintain relationships with KOLs, Medical Associations, Universities, Hospitals and Research institutions at a local and regional level to drive Kenvue’s scientific thought-leadership, credibility, trust and advocacy for the science behind our brands Lead collaborations with the relevant local medical associations and where relevant support local teams engaging professional/government bodies, including but not limited to HCP conferences, Advisory Board meetings Managed Third Party HCP Field Team People Leadership What We Are Looking For Required Qualifications Pharmacist, Biological sciences PhD or Physician Ability to simplify complex medical information for various audiences Proven track record of driving HCP engagement and KOL advocacy Experience of developing and administering internal technical training programs Strong science communicator with the ability to communication science to a wide variety of audiences including government officials, HCPs and consumers Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams with outstanding communication, mental and people agility skills to activate and engage others as well as influence without authority Prior experience in Medical Affairs within the Consumer Healthcare industry preferred Strategic thinking and ability to contribute to business planning Being able to connect cross-functionally building strong interdependent partnerships internally and externally Good project, budget and time-management skills Strong personal leadership skills and business acumen with the ability to influence and constructively challenge the cross-functional team, stakeholders and business partners What’s In It For You Competitive Benefit Package Paid Company Holidays, Paid Vacation, Volunteer Time, Summer Fridays & More!
