About the opportunity: Mercy Palliative Care is seeking casual Health Care workers in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne. Join our team in providing high quality care to patients in the community. About the role: Join our friendly team and a leading provider of palliative care services in Melbourne. Our aim is to maximize the quality of life by provision of the highest standard symptom management and support. Provide palliative care to terminally ill patients in the community and support their families. Work in consultation with other staff to provide relevant and timely care to patients/carers. Predominantly night duty covering annual leave and sick leave. Pool car and electronic devices provided as required. Our service has offices located in Werribee and Sunshine. What you’ll bring Certificate III in Aged Care/Home and Community Care or Individual support. Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work across a variety of shifts including night duty and respite. Current and Valid Driver's licence essential. Demonstrated understanding of patient- centred care. You’re resilient, compassionate and have a whole lot of heart. Most importantly, you are committed to delivering exceptional patient-centred care.
