About the role This role supports the development and delivery of initiatives that promote psychological safety and overall health and wellbeing. Providing tools and resources to ensure employees remain emotionally, mentally and physically fit for work, reduce the risk of injury or illness and help them lead healthier lives. Key responsibilities include: Partnering with business unit leaders to coach and support them with health-related matters. Collaborating with P&C and HSE BP’s to implement health-focused initiatives across AGL. What you'll be doing Manage and review individual rehabilitation and RTW programs to reduce injury-related downtime and costs. Ensure RTW processes align with AGL policies and legislation, whilst maximising outcomes. Support early intervention strategies to assist employees to remain at work. Liaise with all stakeholders (leader, P&C, HSE and Treating Practitioner) to coordinate effective case management and promote positive outcomes. Deliver training on injury management and early intervention. Support the Health Team in delivering occupational health and wellbeing initiatives. What we're looking for Allied Health (Occupational Therapist, Exercise Physiologist, Psychologist, Physiotherapist) tertiary qualification is highly desirable. Demonstrated understanding of occupational rehabilitation and the practical application of legal requirements. Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation and teamwork skills to influence injury management outcomes and improve work practices. Proficient written and verbal communication skills to provide effective advice to Leaders and employees throughout the injury management process. Good presentation skills for conducting injury management awareness and training programs. A good understanding of and ability to use computer applications and systems (e.g. Microsoft Word and Excel, Outlook and injury management systems such as Injury Master, InjuryConnect, or similar).
