- We're looking for a strategic leader to drive continuous improvement and change governance across our Service division. This role will lead the Service division’s continuous improvement (CI) agenda and govern the intake, prioritisation, and delivery of change initiatives. This role ensures meaningful change is delivered that improves Member experience, operational effectiveness and regulatory compliance. By balancing oversight with practical support, the role enables delivery of tangible improvements, while ensuring priorities are aligned to strategic objectives through backlog management and cross functional influence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Continuous Improvement (CI) team to deliver initiatives that enhance member experience, service outcomes, and cost efficiency.
- Govern the intake, prioritisation, and delivery of change initiatives across the Service division.
- Facilitate prioritisation forums and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Champion CI methodologies (e.g. Lean Six Sigma) and embed sustainable improvements across the business.
- Provide clear reporting on initiative pipelines, benefits, trade-offs, and resource capacity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and ensure regulatory compliance.
About You
- Proven leadership in change governance or portfolio management within superannuation or financial services.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Experience in CI delivery and methodologies.
- Qualifications in Business or related discipline; project/program management certification preferred.
- Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Operations, or a related discipline.
- Certification in project/program management (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, Agile).
- Proven leadership in change governance or portfolio management within superannuation or financial services.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including executive-level influence.
- Experience in CI delivery using methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes aligned to business benefits.
- Beneficial: Knowledge of customer service best practices, contact centre operations, and digital service models.
