We’re seeking talented and dedicated Head Chef to join our dynamic kitchen teams. If you’re passionate about food, thrive in fast-paced environments, and love leading by example, we’d love to hear from you. As a Head Chef you’ll oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring creativity, consistency, and quality across every service. You’ll lead by example, from hands-on cooking to mentoring your team and maintaining strong cost and quality controls.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth service, staff supervision, and consistent quality.
• Preparing and cooking food
• Collaborate with management on menu design, specials, and promotional events.
• Oversee stock control, supplier management, and food cost targets.
• Ensure quality and presentation of all foods.
• Training and developing kitchen staff.
• Manage staff rosters to ensure efficient coverage and optimal workflow.
• Analyse food costings and operational budgets to achieve required profit margins.
• Receiving & storing food stocks, kitchen supplies and equipment
• Advising on cooking procedures and demonstrating techniques
• Discussing food preparation issues with senior management
• Maintaining quality, preparation and presentation of dishes quality
• Implementing systems & procedures
• Implement, explain and enforcing hygiene regulations & secure workplace.
• Select and train staff.
• Freeze and preserve foods.

Key Qualities

• Certificate in Commercial Cookery , Diploma of Hospitality Management or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role
• Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings.
• Positive attitude and strong team spirit
• Honest, humble, and results-driven

Job Type : Full-time

Salary: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
