We are currently seeking dedicated and skilled heavy duty diesel mechanics to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty diesel equipment including trucks, excavators, water trucks and other machinery.

Accountabilities of the role:

• Maintain and adhere to a safe work environment.

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of mobile mechanical equipment

• Carry out designated tasks as outlined by the Maintenance Supervisor.

• Carry out equipment repair and defect repair.

• Perform inspections to ensure equipment meets safety and operational standards.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to determine the most effective solutions.

• Complete relevant documentation and reports accurately and in a timely manner

• Collaborate with other team members to optimize equipment performance.

• Maintaining equipment to OEM standards.

About you:

• Relevant Trade Qualifications

• CAT, Komatsu and Hitachi experience.

• Experience in use of sis - Cat ET.

• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair various equipment.

• Be able to complete a pre-employment medical screening.

• Hold a WA Manual Driver’s License, White/Blue Card, Forklift Ticket.

• Demonstrate strong diagnostic and communication skills.

• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary Range: $80,000 to $120,000
