Hatchery Process Worker – Afternoon/Night Production Shift

About You: • Experience in a similar production like role an advantage • Good communication skills - both internally and externally • Able to commit to afternoon / night shift • Physically fit and able to handle labour intensive work • Keep No Pigs or Birds on your residential site

Desirable: Poultry experience would be an advantage but not a necessity as training will be provided.

The successful candidate will provide support to the production division of the Hatchery with responsibilities including but not limited to: • Assessment and grading of day-old chicks in accordance with all animal welfare codes of practice • Counting and monitoring number of chicks • Loading chick deliveries • Nightly cleaning & sanitising the hatchery

Various Roles could include: • Egg handling day old chicks • Operation of machinery • Sanitation and cleaning • Truck loading
