VeiraMal Consulting is seeking an experienced Hairdresser to be a part of our client’s business Indian Beauty Studio Pty Ltd in Parramatta. Our client offers a great working environment and a competitive salary for the right candidate.

Objective of the Position:

Deliver high-quality hairdressing services to clients, ensuring professional standards, exceptional customer care, and consistent satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide professional advice on hair care, beauty products, and suitable hairstyles tailored to each client.
- Shampoo hair and condition scalps to prepare clients for styling and treatments.
- Apply chemical treatments, including colouring, straightening, and permanent waving.
- Cut and trim hair using scissors, clippers, and razors with precision and artistry.
- Style hair into braids, dreadlocks, and apply hair extensions as requested.
- Shave and trim beards and moustaches to maintain or enhance client grooming.
- Maintain a clean, hygienic workspace by sanitising tools, equipment, and work areas in line with health standards.
- Schedule and manage client appointments, and process payments efficiently.
- Clean, colour, cut, and style wigs or hairpieces when required.

Responsible for: Delivering exceptional hairdressing and client services in line with workplace expectations and industry best practices.

Accountable to: Manager / Director

Qualifications / Experience:

- AQF Certificate III with at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3).
- Proven experience across hair cutting, styling, colouring, and chemical treatments.
- Strong knowledge of hair care products, treatment techniques, and current industry practices.

Remuneration: $75,000 - $85,000 + Superannuation

Location: Shop 1, 7 Aird Street, Parramatta, NSW 2150

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Working Hours: 38 hours per week
