Salary : $65,000 - $85,000 a year

Located in the tree-lined hub of Bathurst, NSW, The George Hotel offers a sophisticated and modern pub experience that is rare to the local area. Their architecturally designed, boutique space boasts a light-filled front bar, relaxed pub dining, a cosy lounge and fireplace setting, private function areas and guest accommodation.

The George Hotel is currently looking for a hardworking and dedicated Hair or Beauty Salon Manager to join their team.

Duties, and Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of the hotel hair and beauty salon to ensure efficient and high-quality service delivery.
Lead and manage a team of hair and beauty staff.
Supervise the delivery of a full range of services offered by the salon, including hair cutting and styling, colouring, waxing, facials, and other beauty treatments.
Plan and manage rosters and schedules to maximise client satisfaction.
Maintain accurate client records, service history, and financial reports.
Monitor revenue targets and implement service promotions to increase salon patronage.
Monitoring salon supplies and equipment and ordering new stock as needed.
Ensuring that the salon is clean and well-maintained at all times.
Recruiting, hiring, training and coaching salon staff.
Resolving client complaints.
Prepare operational reports and provide feedback to senior hotel management.

Skills and Experience:

Relevant qualification
At least one year of relevant experience
Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong knowledge of hair and beauty services.
Proven ability to manage a team.
High level of professionalism, personal grooming, and attention to detail.
Knowledge of OH&S requirements and instruction and carry out OHS requirements and 'lead by example’.
