Job Type • Project type: Ongoing engagement (Fully Remote) • Hours: 7–15 hrs/week with 3–4 hrs/week overlap in Sydney, Australia time zone (Australian Eastern Standard Time) • Compensation: US$20–30/hr (experience-dependent) About us We are a fast-growing, high-performing basketball club based in Sydney, Australia with a reputation for structured coaching, player development, and operational excellence. Our current product offering includes junior player registrations on competitive teams, holiday camps, and school programs. Your Mission We’ll teach you the niche; we need your generalist marketing growth skills to build and scale our local lead generation for our school programs, holiday camps, as well as our junior player registrations for our competitive teams. You will own the channel mix, testing cadence, creative direction (working with our videographer), landing page build, CRO, tracking, and reporting. Key Responsibilities Acquisition • Plan, launch, and optimise paid marketing campaigns • Structure campaigns for speed of learning (clean naming, audiences, budgets, tests) • Write/test ad angles & headlines (2–3 A/Bs per week) Funnels & CRO • Build/iterate lean landing pages (clarity, proof, speed, CTA) • Set UTMs, pixels, GA4/Tag Manager, and validate events/attribution • Suggest simple email/SMS follow-ups for new leads Reporting & Rhythm • Weekly snapshot: CPL, trial volume, from trial to paying customer percentage, creative insights, next tests • Maintain a lightweight decision log (keep/kill/scale, with reasons) What success looks like (first 6–8 weeks) • CPL less than AUD $25 • 20+ trial sign-ups/month • More than 30% trial to paid conversion • At least one repeatable audience x hook x offer combo we can scale • Clean tracking, tidy artifacts, and on-time shipping of tests Qualifications Required • Resourceful, with a demonstrated ability to drive results for SMBs. • Hands on with Meta/Google Ads, GA4/Tag Manager; basic Landing Page building skills • You can turn a constraint (budget, dates, capacity) into a clear, testable plan • Excellent written English; structured operator habits (checklists, QA, documentation) Preferred • Youth Sport/Education experience • Familiarity with Australian market dynamics and school calendars (bonus, not required) Why Join Us? • Visible impact: your system becomes the backbone of our enrolment growth • Lead the function: you set the plan and pace; we execute alongside you • Low politics, high autonomy: work directly with decision‑makers • Supportive Team: Work in a collaborative and positive environment.
